Our Governing Body: Sustainability Action is governed by its active membership, which meets annually to elect Directors of the Board. Policy issues are formulated by our Board of Directors by consensus, and ratified by a majority of our membership. Policy decisions are made by consensus as in unanimity. A deadlock can be overridden by a 70% majority.
We hold monthly Board meetings that are open to all members and people in the community, and at which major organizational issues and events are planned and decided. Our monthly meetings are on the fourth Tuesday evening, 6:30-8:00pm, the location being published in the weekly Sustainability Action e-news digest.
